Little Known Secrets to Losing Weight – Part 1

Everyone knows that in order to lose unhealthy weight it is always a good idea to eat nutritious food to fuel the body and to exercise. But most people stop there. They think that is all there is. I’m here to tell you that it is just a part of the weight loss story.

Some of the basic advice from most weight loss books include:

  • Eat whole foods, not processed foods
  • Stay away from excessive sugar and carbohydrates with high glycemic index such as potatoes, rice, bread, cereal, pasta, cakes cookies etc.
  • Eat breakfast so that your body doesn’t go into starvation/conservation mode, a situation where your body will burn your muscles for glucose (brain food) while conserving your fat (yikes!)
  • Eat several small meals a day instead of just 1-3. The more often your body gets fed, the more likely it will release the fat as it won’t consider you in starvation mode.
  • Exercise regularly to burn calories, improve the function of your heart and lungs and to build muscle

All this advice is good. But there is more you need to know. One of the biggest problems keeping America fat in addition to processed and fast food and lack of exercise is:

Toxins – they are often stored in fat when the body can’t process them quickly enough. If you can’t detoxify the body you can’t lose the fat

In North America at least, we are inundated with toxins. I love the quote from Suzanne Somers: “They shouldn’t label food organic and non-organic. They should label them poisonous and non-poisonous. How many people do you think would buy the non-organic food then?”

And it’s not just your food. Toxins leach out of plastics, common household cleaners, skin care (even “organic brands”) products, carpets, cars, bedding furniture….

Here is sobering news in case you don’t think you’re already toxic. In a study released in 2005, ten out of ten newborn babies whose umbilical cord blood samples were tested for toxins all came back positive. And it just wasn’t a few toxins…

The researchers found a total of 287 chemicals from the entire group including two chemicals that were banned in the 1970s and other chemicals used in gasoline, garbage treatment, power plants, the production of flame-resistant products, plastics, Teflon, and wood preservatives. Some of these chemicals have been linked to cancer, endocrine disruption, and neurological impairment.

In case you’re getting depressed, don’t be. Since LifeWave introduced the weight loss and anti-aging products, you can now harness one of the most powerful detoxing molecules made naturally in the body: Glutathione.

LifeWave Glutathione patches stimulate the production of that master anti-oxidant in your cells. Unlike pills, powders and injections which last only a few minutes in the body and only raise your glutathione a few percentage points, LifeWave Glutathione patches increase the body’s production of glutathione by approximately 300% within 24 hours. No other product has been shown (in blood studies) to do this.

Glutathione Elevated 300% over Baseline

That means that since you have more glutathione floating around for the 12 hours you’re wearing the Glutathione patch, it can do it’s job digging out toxins from your storage places and getting them out of your body.

The Carnosine patch is part of the LifeWave Y-Age Anti-aging system and is the “repair” patch. What it does is repair and plump up aging cells so that water and nutrition can flow into the cells more easily AND allow the toxic build-up to flow out. As my partner, James, likes to say, “think of a raisin becoming a grape again!”

The best way to start using these two LifeWave patches is to:

1. Start patching with Glutathione using the points on the brochure three times a week and working your way up to five to seven days a week as tolerated.

2. Use Carnosine two to three times a week. Since Carnosine lasts longer in the body, you don’t have to use it as often unless you are a high performance athlete for example wanting faster muscle repair.

Some people like to start patching with Glutathione patches Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays and then patching with the Carnosine patch Tuesday and Thursdays. Once they tolerate to using the patches this way, they graduate to using Glutathione patches Monday through Friday and Carnosine Saturday and Sunday. Eventually, they use Glutathione seven days a week.

Note: you can use Glutathione patches and Carnosine patches together on the same day.

On the next installment of this blog we’ll discuss how to manage the other MAJOR issue that thwarts people in their weight loss goals – STRESS.
