LifeWave Distributor Bio: Meet Tamera Schapel, Australia

In 2005, at the age of 38, I was diagnosed with early breast cancer. After multiple surgeries and 6 treatments of chemotherapy, I recovered and began to rebuild my life, believing my cancer was cured. I was devastated when 2 ½ years later, I discovered the cancer had spread to my spine.

When ‘early detected’ cancer becomes metastatic cancer, Western Doctors start talking about ‘years to live’ rather than cure and the focus becomes prolonging life for as long as possible – not curing the disease.

I realised that if I was going to beat this disease I needed to do more than rely on traditional treatments. My focus turned to alternative therapies, which were based on helping the body to heal itself. My own treatment incorporates a diet rich in whole foods, aspects of Chinese medicine including acupuncture, meditation and yoga.

Three years on, my Oncologist continues to be amazed with my progress. My cancer appears to be ‘quiet’ and has not spread any further.

I am now in the process of transitioning out of my career in IT sales, spanning 14 years and into a new career as a Health Practitioner. I began studying Nutrition last year and will be going part time in my IT job this year, to allow more time to focus on this – my real passion.

I stumbled across LifeWave, while researching on the Web. After consuming the Website, watching every video I could find and reading many testimonials, how could I NOT be interested! I immediately applied to sign up and was lucky enough to find Dr. Karen Kan, as my sponsor. I am so excited to find a product that fits with my philosophy and will allow me to help myself and others, achieve optimum health & performance, in a natural, drug free way.
