It is Erin Pac’s first trip to the Olympics representing USA 2 Bobsled. Today after the 4th run of the Olympic women’s bobsled event, bobsled driver Pac and her brakeman Elana Meyers finished third to clinch the Bronze medal for the United States. The boblsed track in Whistler BC is known as the fastest track in the world and thus is the most dangerous.
Despite the Canadians have a huge advantage on “home ice”, USA 2 was in second place after the third run and was bumped to bronze because of a phenomenal error-free run by Canada 1.
Michelle Rzepka, brakeman, and her driver, Shauna Rohbock in USA 1 finished strong in sixth place, less than 0.66 second slower than Pac and Meyers.
We at LifeWave wish hearty congratulations to Pac and Rzepka and their teammates, as well as all of our LifeWave Olympians who competed in Vancouver!
